Ann L. Recker

 Property Adjuster

Ms. Recker has two decades of adjusting experience. Prior to joining McMartin, Wasek & Associates, she was a senior adjuster at The ASU Group in Okemos, MI, and at Strongrich Reschly Inc. in Fenton, MI. She is licensed in the state of Michigan as a residential multi-line insurance adjuster, and successfully completed AIC designation through the Insurance Institute of America.

Brad Grenlund

Workers Compensation Adjuster

Mr. Grenlund is a licensed independent adjuster handling workers compensation claims for McMartin, Wasek & Associates. He has more than three decades of property and casualty insurance experience with numerous carriers, as well as extensive experience in all areas of claims handling, investigation and litigation. He participated in the National Association of Independent Insurers (NAII) subcommittee for Medical Issues Fraud and Workers Compensation.

Brad L. Baker

Adjuster

  • Graduate – Olivet College

 

Mr. Baker is recent graduate from Olivet College majoring in Criminal Justice and Insurance and Risk Management.  Brad is a current licensed Michigan adjuster who is working directly with our staff of adjusters to service our customers. 

Carl Suhr

Certified Public Accountant

  • Memberships – American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants

 

Mr. Suhr has nearly three decades of experience in public and private accounting. He developed the Forensic Accounting Department at McMartin, Wasek & Associates and frequently presents seminars on business income and wage loss analysis.

Chris Jacobs

Ms. Jacobs has a decade of adjusting experience in property and casualty claims, and is a former independent adjuster for G.A.B. Robins North America. At McMartin, Wasek & Associates, she handles property claims throughout Michigan.

Dawn Vanderhyde

Large Loss Adjuster

Ms. Vanderhyde has nearly two decades of experience in the insurance claims adjusting industry. She began her career as a resident outside adjuster with Farmers Insurance Group, and then joined the Harleysville Group as a resident senior property claims representative. Later, she was a property adjuster with Chubb Insurance Group. At McMartin, Wasek, & Associates, she is the supervising adjuster in our Brighton, MI, office.

Mr. Compton Has a lenghty 20 years of experience in the residential and commercial industry field.  He brings with him a multitude of knowledge regarding estimates, permits, planned critical Path / Gant charts, construction sales, finish carpentry, framing, as well as general contracting.  As president and owner of Compton Construction, Inc., he has worked with numerous general contractors overseeing hundreds of projects.  He joined McMartin, Wasek & Associates, Inc. as a skilled Senior Estimator & Xactimate Trainer, which is the number one property claims estimating tool in the industry.

Joseph C. Coccia

Director of Business Development

  • Memberships – Michigan Adjusters Association, Honorable Order of Blue Goose, the National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators, the National Association of Surplus Lines Underwriters, Registered Professional Adjuster

 

Mr. Coccia has more than three decades of experience in the insurance claims adjusting industry. He began his career with United States Fidelity and Guaranty Co. as a multi-line adjuster. He was employed with The Hartford as a workers compensation manager, and spent 26 years with the ASU Group, the last 15 as assistant vice president of sales and marketing. He later became vice president of sales at G-M Adjusting Co. At McMartin, Wasek & Associates, he is director of business development.

Kim Baker

Liability Adjuster

Ms. Baker is an independent adjuster for losses assigned from numerous insurance carriers including commercial liability, product liability, auto liability, homeowners liability and PIP, including catastrophic injuries on claim files reported to MCCA. Her experience includes investigation, review of applicable statutes, liability assessments, reserve analysis, outlining legal plan of defense, and the negotiation and settlement of third-party losses.

Kurt L. Jessup

Adjuster

Mr. Jessup has nearly two decades of adjusting experience. He was a multiline adjuster, senior multiline adjuster and general adjuster with the ASU Group. Prior to that, he was a commercial insurance multiple lines underwriter at Citizens Insurance Co. He also has experience as a supermarket owner and manager, senior commercial casualty underwriter and insurance special agent. At McMartin, Wasek & Associates, he is an adjuster.

Michael P. Moriarty

Adjuster

  • Qualifications – HAAG Certified Residential and Commercial Roof Inspector, Flood, General Liability, Commercial, Xactimate

 

Mr. Moriarty comes to McMartin, Wasek & Associates having been an independent insurance adjuster since 2004. During that time, he specialized in catastrophic and daily claims, as an estimator, appraiser and umpire in dispute resolutions. He also specializes in Xactimate. At McMartin Wasek, he is an adjuster.

Phillip Vogel

Adjuster Trainee

Mr. Vogel is a recently graduate from Olivet College with a Insurance and Rick Management Degree.  He joins McMartin, Wasek and Associates as an Adjuster Trainee where he will work along side our lisenced adjusters. 

Timothy W. Frazier

Mr. Frazier has more than two decades of adjusting experience. He began his career as a claim representative at Celina Mutual Insurance Co. and later at Amerisure Companies. He later worked as a supervising adjuster at G.A.B. Robins North America. At McMartin, Wasek & Associates, he is a general adjuster.
