Our History

Chuck McMartin, formerly of GAB Robins North America Inc., and Clare Wasek, formerly of Meridian Mutual Insurance Co., partnered to form McMartin, Wasek & Associates in December 1998. Since starting out with the help of two support staff, the business has steadily grown to include four Michigan locations — Bay City, Brighton, Gaylord and Traverse City — and Findlay, OH.

In 2002, the Forensic Accounting Division was implemented to provide clients with assistance and analysis in areas including business interruption, wage loss (PIP) and commercial theft.

Those services — plus proficiency in property, casualty and contents adjustments — are a testament to the company’s commitment to providing its clients the benefit of a full-service operation.

McMartin, Wasek & Associates is dedicated to developing new lines of business within the insurance industry and to retaining top quality personnel to better serve its clients.
